How I made my first dollar online

I am sure that you, like me, have heard all the stories of people making fantastic amounts of money online and wondered how they REALLY did it- and more importantly how I could do the same.

It is often said that making the first dollar or pound or whatever is the hardest and it is. This is because you have to learn what you are doing and that involves can involve a lot of trial and error.

It took me nearly 2 years to make that elusive first dollar. Everyone has to start somewhere.

What do Joe Vitale, Mark Joyner, David Garfinkel, Pat O'Bryan and Amanda Goldston have in common?

We have all made money online and we all had to start with that first dollar.

OK , at the moment the first four have considerably more zeros on the end of their pay-checks. The only difference between me- or you - is time.

As many of you know I have been working with Pat O'Bryan and the Portable Empire University to create and market my own downloadable products.

I have started to have some success with my first 2 products- Creative problem Solver and Clear Limiting Beliefs

C0-author a book with my heroes!

And now, I am a co-author with all of the people above of a soon to be released book called

"How I made my first dollar online"

How cool is that?

The great thing about this book is that is not only has chapters from the Internet Marketing great, it also has chapters from ordinary people like me.

People who have learnt how to make $1, $20, $100 , $500, $1000 or more. That may not sound like a lot of money, but that can make a big difference to monthly pay check.

Especially if that has come in from something where you have done the work once and then continue to get paid with it.

There is lots to learn from the people who are already fabulously successful. Most success books tell us to follow in the footsteps of the people who done what want to do.

Yes, great strategy.

Sometimes, to me at least, those people seem so far away from where I am that I can't relate to them.

I can, however, relate to someone who has $1 online and can show me how me how to do the same and then build on it.

I believe there is also a lot we can learn from people who are just starting out.

Watch for the book coming out very soon. It has lots of brilliant stuff in there.

"How I made by first $1 online" by Joe Vitale, Mark Joyner, David Garfinkel, Pat O' Bryan, Amanda Goldston and others..."

I will let you know as soon as it is released.
With abundant blessings
Amanda Goldston

P.S. That first $1 online can then lead to the next and the next. It is easy when you know how and you have got someone like Joe Vitale, Pat O 'Bryan and Mark Joyner to guide you

Journey to the top of Glastonbury Tor

Hi

Last weekend I was invited to go with some friends to Glastonbury in South West England. Glastonbury is very old and is considered by many to be a "spiritual mecca".

It certainly has more than its fair share of new age bookshops, crystal shops and shops selling all sorts of things for the Mind, Body and Spirit. I was in heaven!

It seems there was some powerful new earth energy coming in on that day, so we decided to trek up to the top of the famous Glastonbury Tor to welcome it in.

Many of you will have seen my husband Greg's stunning picture of Glastonbury Tor on his Inspiring Moods screensaver.

You may be mistaken- like I was- in thinking it is not very far to the top. In Greg's picture it doesn't look very far.

Well, how wrong could I have been!!

I felt like I was climbing Mount Everest!

Yes, that was the Tor from the bottom!

It was well worth the walk and the view was spectacular.

Below is a picture of the actual Tor itself. They reckon it was once part of the Glastonbury abbey and there were monks living it at one point.

At the appointed time, when the new energy was coming in, all we saw was some very dark clouds in the distance and it looked like it was going to pour with rain. The rain held off until we got to the bottom of the hill.

The inside of the Tor is much smaller than I expected and I was amazed by what I could see through the small window. How anyone lived in there, I have no idea.

I thoroughly enjoyed the day.
It was really lovely.

It reminds me of a couple of years ago when I climbed to the top of Mount Vesuvius in Italy with Greg and Jacqueline. I wrote an article about that journey, which you can see here.

Could a fear of Sucess be holding you back?

Fear of Success and Fear of our Greatness.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear
is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness,
that most frightens us"
By Marianne Williamson, from "A Return to Love 1992"

When I first saw that quote, my brain slammed to a halt in order to
try to make sense of that.

That quote seems to be saying that we are more frightened of
massive success than we are of failure.

How could that be?

For many people this is one of their biggest fears and one of the
most destructive, because it is the least discussed.

Fear of Failure- yes, - most of us can understand that one and can
prepare ourselves for it.

Most of us are taught to expect the worst and potential "failure"
is a part of that.

But Massive Success? Most of us are never prepared for that one.

Could a Fear of Success be holding you back from achieving your
goals and dreams?

Ask yourself, What if I were really GREAT and did outstandingly well at my business? My job? In my relationship?

Notice how you feel when you ask yourself that question. Does it make you feel all tingly and excited? Do you start planning what you would do with all this success and probably the wealth that would follow it?

Do it now.

Imagine yourself to be fabulously wealthy, living in the home of your dreams, travelling to all your favourite vacation spots, having and doing all the things you would love to do- if you had the time or the money.

Really imagine it and notice how you feel. Notice any words that come up in your head. Do the words sound like a parent or teacher or someone from your childhood who told you all the reasons why “YOU” couldn’t have the life of your dreams?

Or do you suddenly feel really uncomfortable and start to think, “What would other people say? What would my "friends" say if I suddenly outshone them or my income took off?”

“Would I still have any friends?” or “Would I attract hangers-on, who just want to be with me because I have got money?”

Or “What would my parents say if I earnt ten times as much as they ever did?”

These thoughts can often be more unconscious than conscious. For many people, all they know is that they do not feel really comfortable with the idea of massive success, and as a result don’t try.

Anyone who has achieved massive success will have gone through this and had to give themselves a good talking to about it.

The fact is, as you become successful, not everyone around you will wish you success. Many of you will probably try to bring your friends along with you on the success journey, but many of those friends want to stay where they are and want you to stay where you are, so they don’t look and feel bad.

Actually, the more success you allow to come into your life, the more new friends you will attract, who will be on your new wavelength. Certain people will get left behind, but if they don’t want to grow with you, there is nothing you can do about that.

Fear of the Positive Changes

People often fear the positive changes, maybe extra responsibility, that great wealth and success brings.

They get caught in all the old negative programming about rich people being mean, selfish, arrogant and not spiritual and that money can only be acquired by foul means, and decide that it is not for them.

They get caught in negative thoughts of people begging for money and others taking it away from them, or what if they make it and then lose it? How much of an idiot would they look then to their friends and family? How much extra tax they might have to pay?

Yet, Success and Abundance is our birthright. We were not meant to live in poverty or stress.

The more Abundance you have, the more you can freely give to others and help them to improve their lives. Money builds homes, schools, hospitals, and many other great things.

True success is also about being able to be ourselves and to be comfortable with who we are.

BE Yourself

Many people go through life trying to BE who they think other people- family, friends, employers, employees, partner etc- want them to be, in order to win love and acceptance from those people.

The most important person, however, is ourself. It is far more important to totally LOVE & ACCEPT ourselves exactly as we are. Once we can do that, we attract to us people who also love and accept themselves and they can then love and accept us exactly as we are.

So how do You overcome a fear of Success?

The first thing is to be honest and to acknowledge the fear, if it is something that affects you.

Once you have identified and acknowledged it, then you can change it.

TIP : Mix With Successful People

One tip to change this is to find someone who has done what you want to do and model them. Modelling is a term which means learn from them, copy their good bits and adapt them to you.

There are a lot of people who have made their own success story, in whatever success means, and most of them are very open and approachable people.

Many of them remember where they have come from and are willing to help other people, providing those people are prepared to help themselves.

Pick someone who respect and admire, start to read their blogs, their articles, and newsletters, download their free stuff, maybe buy some of their products, contribute to their forums and get to know them- or at least about them

You don’t have to stalk them, but you can learn a lot from them. The key here is to take action on what they teach. Apply it to your own life.

As Kris Akabusi, the famous Olympic gold medallist says “successful people should be looked “IN-TO”, not “UP-TO”. What can you learn from these people about their success mindset?

Read as many books about successful people, particularly in your chosen field, as you can. Discover for yourself what they did to overcome this fear of SUCCESS.

Find people online and offline who you can mix with, who are on their way to their goals, and start to mix with them. Mix with people who are going somewhere with their lives and that will naturally pull you along as well.

You can start to upgrade your success mentality a bit at a time.

Each time you go out, go to a nicer and more exclusive and expensive coffee shop or restaurant or spend a bit more each time on the clothes you buy.

If you upgrade your success mentality in small increments, then it is much easier for your subconscious mind to accept and support, because it does not see it as a huge change.

I hope you enjoyed this short article and have found some ideas you could apply to your life.

The More You Give the more you Receive

The More You Give, the More You Receive!

Hi all

Following on from the incredible response I had to the “Art of Receiving” article a couple of weeks ago, I would like to share with you a fantastic resource that has helped me move on with my “Ability to Receive”.

“The More Your Give, the More You Receive” by Roy Goreya

This is one of the best books I have read on creating the life of your dreams. Roy Goreya writes straight from the heart and his book is full of insightful wisdom that he has learnt on his own journey.

It is totally in alignment with everything I teach about creating abundance.

At first the idea of giving first, in order to receive seems to be totally backwards to everything we have been taught about success. However, it is really the most logical sequence of events.

Roy offers ones of the simplest explanations of the importance of “Being” ourselves and being responsible for our own thoughts and actions. Once we accept ourselves as loving, worthy, worthwhile human beings, then miracles really begin to happen.

It is important to give love and support to ourselves, first and foremost, and then to others. The more energies of unconditional love, gratitude and trust we give out in to the Universe, the more comes back to us.

The second part of the title of this book is “the More You Receive” and this is the bit that many people have the greatest challenge with. Roy’s book offer some simple, yet very profound ideas, for gradually increasing our self worth and allowing more good to come to us.

His book covers how we call apply this principle of “The more you give, the more you receive” to all areas of our lives; from our health to our wealth; form our children and their education to our relationships.

I was particularly drawn the sections on “Money- The Divine Energy” and “Fair and Creative Business”. Following those principles is how I have tried to build my business and it really does all come back to you- multiplied!

This is a brilliant book and Roy offers a superb value for money package. Roy truly practises what he preaches of “The More You Give, the More You Receive” and I wholeheartedly endorse his message and this book.

Please go and take a look.
Roy also gives you a completely free sample of the book.

$891 in sales in 7 days- totally passive!

One of the most common questions I get is about Creating Financial Abundance.

Part of that is about allowing ourselves to receive the good that is our birthright and part of it is about finding a suitable vehicle for creating wealth.

In my case it also had to be something I could start for almost no money, because I didn't have any.

Here is something that has worked for me.
It may - or may not- work for you.

I have just made 33 sales of a $27 ebook in 7 days- totally passive!- $891 in sales from 1 email!

My family and I were on holiday at the time, in a place where there is no internet access and I didn't even know that had happened.

6 months ago, I could never have written a statement like that.

I first came across Pat O Bryan in 2006 when I bought a set of his UNseminar 1 DVDs and CDs.

Like most fantastic material I had bought I never watched them.

In January 2007 I was at rock bottom. Due to a series of different events, my family and I started 2007 with $80 to our name.

Pat announced a competition to be mentored by him to build a Portable Empire Business. A business creating and selling my own products and making a PASSIVE Income, wherever I was in the world.

It took me all of 10 seconds to read and REPLY to that email and to write and post a letter to Pat, explaining why he should pick me.

That was the first lesson I learnt on my Success Journey- Speed of ACTION is King in Business Success.

I was so thrilled when I got the email to say I had been accepted.
8th March 2007 was my start date.

So far, since being a part of this amazing programme:
- I have defined the things I am PASSIONATE and KNOWLEDGEABLE about and have come up with my niche of "Intuition and Inspiration in Life and Business"
- I have written my ebook of "Develop Your Intuition in Business through Tarot" which is currently being edited
-I have shown a couple of people a product on "Clear Limiting Beliefs" that I had previously created. That product was then refined, the workbook updated, the sales letter updated and I put it on Clickbank.
- Pat promoted it for me, which is where a lot of the sales came from
- It was reviewed by Susan Denham on her site, www.beyondbrainwaves.com
-It has also been chosen to be a bonus product for another member, Amy Grant, who I met through the forum.

I am in the process of helping my kids get their own Portable Empire Businesses up and running and of helping other family members.

I have learnt so much about myself and have identified a lot of the reasons why I have given up in the past.

This is the most amazing place, as the people are so helpful and supportive.
I have tried for several years to make a success of Internet Marketing - on my own- and it has fallen flat on its face.

I have also had the opportunity to write a chapter for one of Pat's books.

I have made more progress in 3 months than I have done in 3 years. That is thanks to Pat O Bryan and the Portable Empire University.

Now I have tasted success, I can replicate that with other products and I am now well on my way to having my dream of multiple streams of passive income, wherever I am.

If I can do it, you too can create Your Own Portable Empire

Please have a look. It is well worth it, and NO, it won't break the bank!

The Art of Receiving

The Art of Receiving

Give and….. – finish the sentence.

I would almost put a bet on you finishing the sentence with the word “Take”.

Give and Take is a phrase many of us use every day. Yet how does it make you feel? Does it make you feel abundant and prosperous? Or more like there is no real winner and you are probably having to compromise on something you really wanted?

How about replacing the word “take” with the word “receive”?

“Give and Receive” is the natural cycle of abundance, yet it is something loads of people struggle with.

For many the “Give” part is easy to do because most of us have been trained from being little children to give to others, to think of others before ourselves and to refuse gifts or compliments.

We have been trained that it is selfish to demand what we want and so many of us have a low measure of what we feel we are worth or we deserve.

So many people can selflessly give of their time, money, business services or anything else that anyone wants. Yet those same people can really struggle receiving the good that is their birthright.

“Well!” I hear you protest, “I wouldn’t refuse a big lottery win or an inheritance or a large pay rise!”

Agreed, you probably wouldn’t but you may be blocking that from coming to you by refusing small things in your life.

Compliments

Has anyone ever told you that your clothes look lovely? And have you ever cast that compliment aside with “O, this old thing!”?

Or have you ever almost had a fight with a friend when they have offered to buy you lunch and you have insisted on paying your share or that you were going to pick up the tab?

Have you ever refused money when you have done someone a favour, such as walk their dog or take them to the supermarket?

Or told someone they should not have bought you a present for your birthday or Christmas?

If you have ever caught yourself doing or saying any of those things, can you remember for a brief moment, the look on the person’s face when their gift or help was refused?

Most of us love to give because it makes us feel good. However the ability to gracefully receive- with a smile- is just as crucial. It is part of the cycle.

Refusing to accept good things blocks the flow and damages the cycle. We are all givers and we should also all be receivers. We cannot be solely one or the other.

Mount Everest

A few years ago, we had just sold a property and were feeling very prosperous financially. The husband of a friend of mine had the opportunity to go on an expedition to climb Mount Everest.

He had to fund part of it himself and my friend set about raising money for him. She baked and sold cakes, did a sponsored run and all sorts of other fundraising activities.

I offered her £500 as a gift towards this. Why? Because I wanted to, because I wanted to help and I thought it was a fabulous opportunity for him.

She refused the gift, saying she thought it would damage and compromise our friendship. I felt so hurt and so upset. I did not really know what to do with that money, as nothing I could think of seemed to give me as much pleasure as that gift would have done.

I felt like I had been hit with a sledgehammer. From there on, our friendship degenerated considerably.

Constantly giving is not as selfless as we have been taught because if you give constantly and never allow yourself to receive, you cannot nurture yourself and replenish your ability to give.

"Yes, Please I'll have a wet suit..."

On the other side, I was told about a lady who was about to retire. Her work colleagues planned a collection for her and asked what she would like as a leaving present.

Most people would say “O, nothing really!” and leave the givers wondering what to do with the money and probably end up buying something the person did not really want.

This lady, however, piped up with “Thank You very much. If you collect enough, I’ll have a diving wet-suit, please!”

Are you refusing your good?

We put out our requests to the Universe for something and then refuse to accept it when it comes back, probably because it often comes back in a way that is different to what we requested and we don’t recognise our own request.

Maybe our request was for more money and a new introduction comes back, which is not what we asked for as we were expecting a lottery win or a loan to be repaid.

We often expect our good to come in a certain way from a certain person and so can shut ourselves off to other possibilities.

Top tips for Receiving

- Accept compliments with a smile

- Allow a friend to buy you a coffee or lunch or a meal

- If someone offers to pay you for something such as walking the dog or petrol (gas) money for taking them to the shops, gracefully accept it

- If you get an offer of help in any way, accept it, whether it is someone carrying your shopping or getting something off a high shelf for you

- Pick up pennies/cents in the street

- Expect to receive gifts, compliments, freebies, good deals, discounts, vouchers etc

- Think of yourself as lucky and tell yourself you are lucky and good things come to you

- Buy something really nice for yourself and accept the gift from yourself

- Practise saying "Thank You" and noticing things that make you feel happy.

Practise and have fun. Watch someone’s face light up when you gratefully accept something they have offered. That is a priceless experience!

June Newsletter

Hi all

The June Newsletter is a bit behind this month as we have chosen to live in chaos for a month.

We have been planning to move to the South West of England, however that looks as if the timing is not yet quite right.

We spent two weeks having the whole house fixed up, painted and decorated. Yes- in true Goldston style, we did the whole lot in one go!

At one point I remarked that "perhaps the next time we decorated, we would do what normal people do and... ( I was going to say "do one room at a time")...

Stephanie chipped in and finished the sentence for me .. "and we'll go to the Bahamas for the week"- that's my girl!!!

Divine Timing

When we desperately want something to happen, it can be very hard to accept that perhaps the timing is not quite right at this very moment. There had been issues over trying to rent our house out in order to move and then the estate agent (realtor) gave us a much lower sale valuation than we expected.

Hmmm... someone trying to tell me something maybe?

Then Greg told me he had imagined a Christmas Tree in one (now clutter free) corner of the room.

Christmas Tree??? In May???

Since I stopped fretting about moving, other things have started to flow. Perhaps that was an excuse not to be doing the things I know I really needed to be doing.

Queen of Procrastination

I have discovered a real talent I have never acknowledged before- a great ability to find other things to do other than the important stuff.

I went on a fantastic workshop last weekend to deal with just that issue and I will tell you all about it shortly.

Lesson of the Month

My lesson this month has been to focus on the IMPORTANT stuff, to do one thing at a time and complete it before I go onto the next one.

There is loads of new things coming up which I will tell you about shortly.
That's all for now

May2007 Newsletter

Hi

I have just posted the May Abundance Newsletter for you. It has lots of tips for creating abundance in your life, as well as some special offers.

May Newsletter

April was our first full month of homeschooling and it has been a real learning curve for all of us. One of the biggest lessons for me has been to:

"Take things one step at a time"

and this has applied to all areas of my life.

I have set out a plan each day for homeschooling and for business.

The Homeschooling plan has been relativley easy to follow, although I found I was trying to get the kids to do far too much in a subject in a day.

On the business list I now have one important thing do do each day.
When that is complete, I celebrate!

I was trying to get far too much done, the "to-do" list was so scary I was getting nothing done.

FOCUS

The abiltity to focus on one thing at a time is crucual. I have spent most of the most reorganising the pages for my current products, so they are all on one page and easy to find.

That has cleared the way, so I can focus on my Tarot, Angel Cards and Intuition products.

SPECIAL OFFER

I am so delighted with my re-organisation, that I am offering 25% off all my products including in-depth angel card readings until Friday May 11th 2007.

Please take a look and snap up a bargain.

Plans are well under away for our move to South West England in the Summer. Yippee!!

Develop Your Intuition in Business

How to develop Your Intuition in Business

This is a short extract from my forthcoming book- "How to develop Your Intuition and Creativity in Business Using The Tarot"

What is Intuition or gut feeling?

It is knowledge obtained from an ability to understand or know something immediately without needing to think about it, learn it or discover it by using reason:- Cambridge dictionary.

In my understanding it is a way of just "knowing" something without any rational explanation for it. Often there are no external signs to back up this "knowing". I believe it is something we all have and it is as real as the other senses of sight, sound, touch, smell and hearing.

For a long while it was considered that women used their intuition more than men, although I am now meeting more and more men who use this guidance system to help them.

Intuition to me is a strong feeling that something is right or wrong and for me it is usually located in my lower stomach area- so hence the term "gut feeling".The question often comes up is whether it is something inside us or outside us or a mixture of the two?

Why it is crucial to develop and listen to your intuition/gut feeling in business

As a Tarot consultant, I am often asked whether everyone has this ability to see and hear information, which is not immediately obvious to the five senses.

The answer is most definitely YES, although it is more developed in some people than others.

It is often referred to intuition or gut instinct- or the “Bull-shit detector” and seems to be more widely used by women.

- How to tell immediately if someone is lying to you
- How to get an insight into the character and personality of someone you are dealing with and know instantly whether you can trust them or not
- Know in advance what objections someone might come up with to your sales and businesses proposal and be prepared for them
- Tune into the true feelings and emotions of a client or an employee and really get a feeling of what is going on for them when they might not be able to express it in words
- Build instant rapport with almost anyone
- Know when your words or actions have overstepped someone’s boundaries, so you can take immediate corrective action

How to develop your Intuition

Know when your intuition is trying to connect with you.

Think of a time when you absolutely knew something was right or wrong- and you listened to that knowing.

How did you know? Was it a feeling in your body? Where was it? Was there a voice? How was the knowing voice different from all the other chatter in your head?

Can you remember the sounds, feelings, pictures?Where in your body did you feel the knowing? For a lot of people that feeling is in their stomach (or solar plexus) area. What kind of feeling was it? Warm? Cold?Maybe it was a voice you heard? Where was the voice? What was the tone?

The more of this you can recall, the easier it is to know when your intuition is trying to get through to you.

For me, when I know something is right, I get prickles running right up my legs and up my back. It may be a completely different sensation when you know something is wrong

When you can identify that knowing, you can practise listening to it

Relax and be still.

The quieter you can get your mind, the easier is it to connect with your intuition. It is hard for it to get through to you when you are stressed.

Take a few deep breaths, breathe our tension and breathe in a feeling of connection.

For some people this works best as a guided visualisation. For others a simple breathing exercise is brilliant.

I have found that, fro me, breathing in deeply to the count of 7, holding for 7, breathing out to 7 and holding for 7 is a terrific way to calm mind, body and spirit in minutes. I learnt that fantastic technique from Dr. Joe Vitale.

The more you can quiet the chatter, the easier it is to be aware of your intuition and to hear the creative insights when they come to you.

Practise.

Just as the phone rings, take a deep breath and try to tune in to who is calling. It really freaks someone when you answer the phone with their name, especially if you were about to call them- and their number has not shown up on your phone

Have fun

Listen to your feelings or to the little quiet, knowing voice that is there to guide you. Before you make an important decision, pause, take a deep breath, ask yourself what is the best course of action for you at this moment and quietly wait for an answer.

Once you can learn to trust your intuition or gut feeling, it won’t let you down. It will help you in any situation.

Hope you find this of use

James Allen Inspiration

Hi all

One of the grand-daddy's of the personal development and Inspiration movement is James Allen, who wrote the very famous book "As a Man Thinketh"

He spent his writing years from 1905-1912 in Ilfracombe in South West England.
I grew up in a village called Lynton, about 20 miles from here.

Whilst on holiday at Easter, we went to find some of the views that inspired the man that has inspired so man.

He used to walk from his home up to the top of the Cairn Nature Reserve, where he would meditate and draw inspiration for his books.

Here are some of the stunning views he saw (less most of the houses of course)

View over Ilfracombe to the Bristol Channel

View looking inland

It was well worth the climb to the top and looking at the stunning views, I could quite understand why he was so inspired.

He was a very prolific writer and also produced a monthly magazine called "The Epoch", which was distibuted worldwide and continued by his widow, Lily Allen, after his death.

Ilfracombe hold an annual Victorian week in June, so that will be well worth visiting.

Just for fun, the kids did a meditation (well, sort of!) on the top of the hill.

Morning Meditiation

Have an inspired day

Money really does grow on trees.

Hi all
We have just had a wonderful week in Devon, South West England, with some truly magical moments.

I had to share this one with you.
As kids most of us have told that "Money does NOT grow on trees!".

Well I am here to tell you it does and we have the photo to prove it!

Yes, that really is hundreds (of not thousands) of coins which have been pushed into the trunk of several trees.

We found this in a place called the Glen Lyn Gorge in Lynmouth, Devon.

We added our own coins for good luck and gave the whole tree a really good, long RUB.

I would like to wish you Good Luck and Prosperity.

Inspirational poems

Hi all

I have been very blessed to have some really lovely poems sent to me by my friends Jeannie Diazio and Martyn the Poet. I would like to share some of them with you.

Retreat by the Ocean by Jeannie Diazio
Beside the crystal clear waters
Of the blue-green briny beach
I retreat by your side.

Strolling along the coastal shores
Sunrays reflect a shimmering gold strewn about
An inner world of precious jewels sublime.

Beneath the limitless sea
My ears listen to the melody of the waves
My thoughts dance with the harmony of the tides

Extended arms unfold caressing the land
Feeling the sensations of the cool breeze upon my face
Hearing the zephyrs soft voice of tranquility
Dazed by the sunset as dusk presides

Silhouettes of lovers’ tryst hand in hand
Leaving embedded footprints in the carpet of sand

Meditating by the ocean in quest of myself
Tis the sanctuary that I seek, core of thy soul
God’s majestic design ever so
As if I breathe the oceans ebbs and flows

Night has befallen as I gaze at the stars
The moon casting down a florescent glow below
Spellbound by magical moments such as this
One of Heavens’ panoramic views
A heartfelt bond connected to thee

Tending the Garden by Jeannie Diazio
A garden should be a place of sanctuary
To go and reflect
Enjoy the beauty
Smell the bouquet of flowers

Sometimes weeds can overpower the scenic view
Destroying the path of loveliness
You know that is when it is time to weed

Bringing back the pure eloquence of joy
Serenity and peace
With God at my hand
Weeding the garden
Eliminating the unwanted
Restoring a harmonious law of nature
Replenishing my persona

To myself... by Martyn the Poet
When i awaken in the sunlight,
and step out to greet this day
I will strive to do those things deemed right
this I promise come what may,

For though my future is uncertain,
and whether bound in chains or free
Whatever i am wherever i am
I will be me.

May angels lift your spirit

Dreams upon the beach by Martyn the Poet
I dream my dreams upon the beach
how soft the sand beneath?

Watch distant hopes sail into reach
yet fate still plays the thief

I hold one though from lessons taught
grey skies will turn to deepest blue

But how much longer must i watch for sails
to move my dreams long overdue....?

Thank you so much for this beautiful inspiration
Have a wonderful day
With love and abudant blessings

Magic Moments on a Shoestring

Hi
On Friday my eldest daughter became a teenager and on Saturday we had the most magical day you could ever wish for.

We went to the West Midlands Safari Park in UK with 4 of her friends, my youngest daughter and her friend.

This is a magnificent place as it has a theme park with rides and it also has a safari park, where you can drive through the lions, tigers, white lions, white tigers, deer, giraffes, buffallo and other animals.

The girls shrieked with delight as they fed some of the animals out of their hands.

The deer are very forward in their approach and stick their head- antlers and all - right into the car to get food! They stand in the road and make sure the cars stop!

Just as we passed the wallabys, one of the girls yelled loudly "Look, the wallaby's having a baby!"

and it was. We watched as the mother gave birth to this tiny creature. What a sight!
Here is a baby wallaby that is minutes old,

The next magical moment was when the girls were feeding a giraffe out of the sunroof of the car. Greg was too far behind in the other car to get a picture of that. It was a most weird sensation.

Birthday girl, Stephanie was the star of the sealion show and got to feed a sea- lion as well as to get a wet sloppy kiss on the cheek. Her face was a picture.

After the tour, we had a fantastic lunch and the girls went on the rides in the theme park. When we finally left, we had several extra teddies with us, which had been won.

Back at home we sang Happy Birthday and cut this enoumous cake with jam, fresh cream and mountains of icing- yum, yum, just perfect for Mummy on a diet (well maybe that starts next week!)

It was so much fun and we enjoyed every minute of it.

With abundant blessings
