If you have children or grand-children I am sure you will know that feeling of "bursting with pride" when you see them accomplish something- on their own and without help from us.
Such was a moment for us a few weeks ago.
As many of you know our girls, Stephanie and Jacqueline, are home-schooled and one of their activities is a singing-dancing-drama group called Stagecoach. (Highly recommended, by the way).
In the summer they had a week workshop. The singing teacher wrote the script, which was a twist on the story of "Cry Wolf".
In only one week, starting totally fresh on Monday morning, they put on a full length production with songs, costumes and scenery.
It was amazing and it was a real "proud parents" moment.
It has also encouraged them to have a go a writing their own fairy-tale scripts.
There are so many wonderful opportunities for children to be creative and for us to get huge pleasure from watching them.
